  1. Barani straight

  2. Back somersault straight, back somersault tucked

  3. Barani piked, back somersault piked

  4. Back somersault, barani, repeat in different shapes x3

  5. 1¼ front somersault to front tucked, to feet (mat allowed)

  6. Crash dive, ball out tucked, ½ twist jump

  7. Back somersault straight, pike or tucked with ½ twist

  8. ½ twist to crash dive, ½ twist to feet

  9. Full twisting front somersault

  10. Front somersault piked, front somersault tucked

Optional (4)

  1. Barani to back

  2. Barani to back, ½ twist to front

  3. ¾ back somersault straight, cruise and duck under to back landing

  4. 1¼ front somersault piked (mat allowed)

  5. Back somersault tucked, crash dive, ball out tucked

  6. ¾ barani with ½ twist to back landing

Body Preparation – Compulsory

  1. A circuit repeated x2 with 30 seconds between each item, containing:
    10 consecutive V sits
    10 consecutive press ups
    30 dorsal raises
    30 twisting crunches
    10 single leg squats each leg

  2. Handstand held for 5 seconds

  1. Back somersault straight

  2. Barani straight

  3. Back somersault tucked

  4. Straddle jump

  5. Back somersault piked

  6. Barani tucked

  7. Back somersault piked to seat

  8. ½ twist to feet

  9. Pike jump

  10. Front somersault piked
